Frame and Fork

The 2006 edition of the Super Mirage comes equipped with a tungsten inert gas (TIG) welded frame construction. Its frame tubing is made of chromoly; an alloy that includes chromium and molybdenum. The frame is also provided with rack and fender braze-ons and its fork is made by Dura Forte. Similar to the frame, the fork is also manufactured using chromoly. The different lengths available include 19.7 inches, 20.9 inches, 22 inches, 23.2 inches and 24.4 inches. It also comes standard with an aluminum alloy seat post equipped with a Velo racing saddle with side panels. The 2006 model's frame only comes standard with black as its color.

The 2006 Super Mirage comes standard with rims manufactured by Alex Rims. It comes equipped with 700 by 20 aluminum alloy 36H rims and Kenda K-191 tires. The weight specification of the tires is 262 grams, which contributes to the lightness of the bike. The bike is also provided with Alex spokes that are double butted and manufactured using stainless steel.
Brakes and Other Components

The bike also comes standard with aluminum dual pivot brakes. The brakes are manufactured by Shimano Sora and come equipped with the Shimano Total Integration (STI) dual control levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano Sora triple bottom-pull/clamp-on type, while the rear derailleur is a Shimano Sora GS Derailleur. The bike's crank set is manufactured using forged aluminum. Its pedals consist of an aluminum cage with clips and straps, while its saddle and handle bar belong to the M-wings category. The bike also comes equipped with nine-speed rear cogs, allowing a setting of up to 24 gear speeds.
