How to Stop Squeaking Clipless Pedals
Clipless bicycle pedals attach the rider to the pedals themselves, providing an efficient means of power transfer between the cranks and bicycle. Due to the small parts and nature of the pedals, they develope squeaks and noises over time. These are easily remedied with the proper lubricant applied to the clips and spindles. Use a wax-based lubricant, marketed as a "dry" lube, to remove the squeaks from your clipless pedals.

1
Position the bicycle pedals so they are parallel to the ground. Squirt the wax-based lubricant onto the flat clips on both sides of each pedal.
-
2
Squirt the oil lubricant directly at the spindle attachment point where the pedal shaft screws into the crank. Let the oil soak into the threads. Wipe away any excess oil from the cranks.

3
Sit on the bicycle with your bike shoes on and clip in and out of the bicycle pedals, letting the wax lube to get on the clips on the bottom of the shoes. Get off the bike and add one more quick squirt of the wax-based lube to both sides of each pedal and let it dry.
