1
Slide your cargo rack onto the back of the bicycle and clip the stem mount to the bicycle's seat stem. Loosen the rear tire's quick release and slide the cargo rack's forked attachments into the rear hub and then tighten the quick release. This locks the cargo rack to the bicycle.
-
2
Lay out the panniers so the right pannier is on the right side of the bicycle and the left pannier on the left. Determine the right and left pannier based on where the attachment hooks are located. For the right-hand pannier, the attachment hooks are on the outer edge of the left-hand side of the bag. For the left, the hooks are on the right-hand side.
-
3
Slide the right-hand pannier onto the cargo rack using the hooks. Reach over and thread the nylon strap through the cargo rack's side bar. Bring the strap up to the quick clip and marry the female end to the male. Pull the nylon strap to tighten the pannier into the side of the bike.
-
4
Slide the left-hand pannier onto the cargo rack with the hooks. Reach down and thread the nylon strap through the cargo bar and marry the female to the male ends of the quick clips. Tighten the pannier into the bicycle by pulling on the nylon strap.
-
5
Tuck the excess nylon straps into the pannier strap housing to prevent tangles in the wheel spokes.
