Instructions

    • 1

Place the bicycle box on the floor upside down in front of you and open the flap. Remove all the hardware and place in a safe area where you can reach it. Open all the plastic bags up but leave the parts in the bags. Pull the front wheel out, which is usually separate from the rest of the bike, and set aside.

Assemble the handlebar to the stem and also assemble the seat and seat post. At this time if the reflectors are separate from the brackets, go ahead and assemble those as well.

    • 3

Pull the bike out and place the handlebar assembly and seat assembly in where they go and flip the bike upside down(you do not have to tighten the handlebars and seat at this time). Place the front wheel in the forks and place the wheel locks and nuts on it and tighten with wrench. If your bike has a quick release just place through the wheels axle and fork and adjust for proper tightness, always point the lock back towards the frame. At this time you can place the reflectors in the spokes and tighten slightly.

Flip the bike right side up and tighten the seat to proper height and tighten the handlebars after straightening the bars with the front wheels. After you have done this, place the brake levers and shifters, if needed, on the handlebars. Put the hand grips on using hair spray (they will tighten and won't spin). Tighten the shifters and brake levers to their desired position.

Now adjust the brake pads on the wheels, they should also tow in toward the rim slightly. Loosen the brake assembly nut and pull the brake cable with your pliers then tighten. Squeeze the brake handle tightly and this should adjust the brake calipers to their proper distance from the rim. You can adjust your shifters as your riding with the small adjustable nut on the shifter itself. At this point you should be ready to ride and enjoy your new bicycle.
