Is There a Difference Between the Supertuck & the Supertuck Deluxe?

Concealed-carry laws allow gun owners to carry handguns on their person covered up by clothing or other means. As of the publication date, 49 states (Illinois being the exception) allow the practice of concealed carry in some form for self-defense purposes. Crossbreed Holsters produces the SuperTuck Deluxe, the latest in a line of holsters designed specifically for concealed carry.
  1. Crossbreed Holsters

    • Mark Craighead founded Crossbreed Holsters in 2005. The company began in his garage as he designed a holster that combined concealment with comfort. Word of mouth bolstered the business until it expanded beyond his garage and into a 2,400-square-foot facility. Each holster is made in the U.S. and comes with a lifetime warranty.

    The Original SuperTuck

    • The original SuperTuck holster combined a kydex holster with a leather backing. The kydex is molded to specific models of firearms. Two thin kydex clips hooked over the owner's belt. The adjustable clips allowed the owner to change the cant of the holster and pistol to fit their preferred style of carry.

    The SuperTuck

    • Later Crossbreed Holsters made slight design changes to the SuperTuck. One of the main changes upgraded the original, thinner kydex clips to a heavier design. The new design took thicker belts into consideration and had more durability. Buyers could also substitute the leather backing with one made from horsehide.

    The SuperTuck Deluxe

    • The most updated design from Crossbreed Holsters is the SuperTuck Deluxe. The latest version of the holster replaces the kydex clips with spring steel clips. A full-sight channel allows for the use of handguns with night sights or other styles of front sight. Spacers make it easier for the owner to tuck shirts in over the holster and handgun.
