How to Reassemble a Crosman 1088

Crosman produces pellet, BB and air guns in rifle and pistol designs. The Crosman 1088 is a handheld pistol that uses .177-caliber pellets and CO2 cartridges. There are very few parts to the Crosman 1088, making assembly and breakdown quick and tool-free. Be aware that the Crosman 1088 is not a toy and must be handled according to gun safety protocols.

Instructions

    • 1

Push the safety button in the back of the trigger guard to "On." Insert a CO2 cartridge into the chamber on the left side of the pistol handle.

    • 2

Place the CO2 cartridge cover over the housing and push the small lever up to lock it into position.

    • 3

Fill the pellet magazine with the .177-caliber pellets. Push the magazine up and into the bottom of the handle, into the magazine-chamber.

    • 4

Push the bottom of the handle toward the barrel until it clicks into position, securing the magazine into the pistol.

    • 5

Tighten the CO2 cartridge lever by pushing it farther up, engaging the piercing needle and allowing the flow of the compressed gas into the pistol.
