How to Make a Paintball Hopper

Paintball hoppers are the parts of a paintball gun that hold the paintballs prior to them being dropped into the chamber and fired from the barrel. There are many designs for the paintball hopper (also called a magazine), most of which are large plastic egg-shaped containers. However, it is extremely easy to build your own paintball hopper with only a few tools and some plastic plumbing supplies.

Instructions

    • 1

Slide the pipe cap onto one end of the 3-inch diameter pipe. This section will function as the main body of the hopper and will hold the paintballs.

    • 2

Slide the 3-inch-to-1-inch adapter onto the other end of the 3-inch diameter pipe. This will serve as the "elbow adapter" connecting the hopper and the gun.

    • 3

Connect the adapter to the chamber elbow of your paintball gun. Pull the cap off the top of the 3-inch pipe. Fill the pipe with paintballs and start playing!
