How to Make a Slosh Pipe
Things You'll Need
- 10-foot length of PVC pipe (3-inch diameter for women, 4-inch diameter for men)
- Tape measure
- Black electrician's tape
- 2 PVC caps (the same diameter as your pipe)
- PVC glue
- Stepladder
- Water
Instructions

1
Use the measuring tape to find the center point of the PVC pipe's length. Wrap a ring of black electrician's tape around the pipe at this point.
-
2
Apply a generous amount of glue to one end of the pipe, as well as to the inside surface of one of the caps. Press the glued end of the pipe all the way down into the cap and stand the pipe on this end. Let dry for 15 minutes.

3
Stand on the stepladder and pour water into your pipe until it has reached the weight you want. Don't fill the pipe completely---it won't "slosh" if there isn't any air space.

4
Apply a generous amount of glue to the open end of the pipe, as well as to the inside surface of the remaining cap. Press the cap all the way down onto the pipe and hold firmly for several minutes until the glue is set. Allow the glue to cure for two hours before using your slosh pipe.
