How to Get Rid of Flabby Arms at Home

Flabby arms can reduce your clothing choices and be embarrassing. Not being able to wear sundresses with spaghetti straps or tank tops during the spring and summer months will make you hot and sweaty unnecessarily. The warm months aren't the only time of the year when flabby arms affect your fashion decisions. Choosing an appropriate dress for a formal event can be frustrating when most of them have sheer sleeves, are strapless or sleeveless. You can do exercises at home that will help you to have arms you can be proud to display.

Instructions

Aim for a healthy and fit body. Do aerobic exercises at least three to five times each week for 30 minutes or more. Cardiovascular exercises, such as walking, riding a bicycle or swimming are excellent whole body workouts that will help you lose weight and build muscles in your entire body. Spot reduction exercises build muscles in that particular area, but aerobic exercises are what is necessary to cut allover body fat and to maintain your health.

Fill an empty soda or water bottle with small pebbles, dried beans or sand to create weights if you do not have dumbbells. Alternately, you can use a canned item.

    • 6

Grasp your left elbow with your right hand and dip your left hand with the weight in it, down behind your head.

    • 7

Lower the weight back to the starting position and repeat the movement 10 times.

    • 8

Place the dumbbell in your right hand and do the same steps 10 times.
