How to Upgrade the Tippmann Model 98 Paintball Gun Trigger

The Tippmann Model 98 paintball gun is a great paintball gun that is durable and resilient. One problem with the stock Tippmann model 98 is that it comes only with a single finger trigger which inhibits its speed. Upgrading the trigger to a double finger trigger will help you shoot a little more paint at your opponents.

Remove all air sources and paintballs from the gun.

    • 3

    • 4

Hold the cocking knob and pull the trigger. Allow the knob to slide forward slowly to un-cock the gun.

    • 5

Use an allen wrench to remove the two screws on the bottom of the gun holding the air source adapter in place.
