    • ESP plastic is non-translucent and is also the most expensive type of plastic used to make flying discs (often called frisbees). ESP plastic is a popular plastic for discs because it is highly durable and because it maintains its flexibility in cold weather and maintains its grip when wet. Its flexibility allows the disc to absorb the impact from collisions with rocks or trees without causing damage to the disc while preventing the disc from ricocheting in unwanted directions.
