The Best Size Screws for a C-More Sight

C-More offers reflexive sighting systems for your rifle. There is nothing worse than buying a new item and, amidst the installation process, you realize that you don't have all the equipment to complete the task. The good news is that you can locate some screws of the appropriate size to finish your project. Most of the time, extra screws will come in the kit you purchased, so look around for the spares before venturing to the store for new ones.
  1. C-More SlideRide

    • The C-More Slideride requires a 10-32 by 1/2 inch screw size to keep the sight in place on your rifle. You need two screws for the basic installation of this sight. Two more spare screws come with the kit.

    Equipment Required

    • Use a 10-32, also referred to as a number 21, drill bit to make holes for the screws. Use the hex wrench provided in the kit to install the screws. Don't overtighten the screws. Tighten until snug. C-Stop also recommends application of red Loc-Tite to keep the screws in place while you use the weapon.

    C-More Serendipity

    • The C-More Serendipity needs 5-40 by .330 inch screw to keep the sight in place on your rifle. This specific model requires six screws of this size. Two extra screws come with the kit.

    Equipment Needed

    • You will need to drill holes for the screws with a number 39 drill bit. Follow the instructions for proper placement of the drill holes. A hex wrench and a 5/64 Allen wrench come in the kit for installation. Never over-tighten the screws; you may damage the screw threads. C-More recommends tightening until snug.
