1
Tie one large double-square knot into the end of a 15 foot length of marine rope. Thread the non knotted end through the hole of one of the raft anchor plugs.
-
2
Thread the non-knotted end of the rope through the anchor hole on one side of the raft and pull it down until the plug rests in the hole.
-
3
Push the rope through the opposite side anchor hole and through the other plug, from the bottom. Tie a double-square knot into the end of the rope, and then pull the rope down so the plug is snug in the hole.
-
4
Tie the anchor line into the center of the plug line. Use a bowline knot to secure the anchor rope to the plug line.
-
5
Attach the anchor to the anchor line. Drop the anchor so the plug line forms a "V" with the anchor line at the apex of the "V" thus securing the raft for swimming use.
