How to Tighten a Brooks Saddle
Brooks saddles are English-made leather bicycle saddles. Brooks England produces high quality, handcrafted leather saddles that are known for their comfort. Like most handcrafted bicycle products, Brooks saddles must be adjusted to the rider for maximum efficacy and comfort. Brooks saddles should be adjusted when they are initially bought, but also after a a period of time and wear and tear. Brooks saddles come with a tension wrench, or spanner, to adjust the saddle tension with, although if you bought the saddle used you may need to try a small wrench for adjusting the tension.

3
Turn the Brooks Saddle tension wrench 1/4 turn to the right for your initial adjustment. Over-tightening is a problem with Brooks Saddles, so err on the side of less.

4
Reattach your Brooks saddle to your saddle post if you removed it for the tightening process.
