How to Remove a Shimano Ultegra Brake Lever

Removing a Shimano Ultegra brake lever requires removing the Shimano Integrated System shifter-brake combination. Shimano uses this system to combine the shifter and brake levers into one housing. These devices attach to the bicycle handlebars via a clamp with hex screws. The clamp band must be loosened and removed to take the lever off the bicycle handlebars.
