Cicli Pinarello S.p.A. is a prestigious Italian bicycle frame manufacturer. Based in Treviso, Italy, the company was started by Giovanni Pinarello in 1952 and makes bicycles for road racing, track racing and cyclo-cross. The Galileo is a mid-range Pinarello model which was upgraded for 2004.

  1. Carbon Fork, Crankset, Braze-ons

    • The 2004 Galileo has a 1 1/8-inch integrated head set, Meta carbon fork, carbon fiber seat stays, Pinarello Duel wheels and Compact aluminium crankset. The bike's braze-ons include STI cable guides with double-bottle bosses. The cable is externally routed along the top tube of the bike.

    Tubing

    • The Pinarello Galileo is available in sizes ranging from 17.3 inches 24.4 inches. The top tube size ranges from 20 to 23.4 inches. The seat angle ranges from 74.56 to 72 degrees. Head tube length ranges from 4.3 to 8.8 inches. The tubing is made of 7005 T6 Alloy and the boke has an oversized down tube. According to the bike retailer Competitive Cyclist, "Pinarello has earned a reputation for mastering new tubing technology before other builders even considered experimenting with it."

    • The 2004 Galileo features Shimano Ultegra components, ITM stem and drop bar, Real Design Ultrasonic Carbon 40 rims and hubs with skewers.
