The 2004 Galileo has a 1 1/8-inch integrated head set, Meta carbon fork, carbon fiber seat stays, Pinarello Duel wheels and Compact aluminium crankset. The bike's braze-ons include STI cable guides with double-bottle bosses. The cable is externally routed along the top tube of the bike.

Head tube length ranges from 4.3 to 8.8 inches. The tubing is made of 7005 T6 Alloy and the boke has an oversized down tube. According to the bike retailer Competitive Cyclist, "Pinarello has earned a reputation for mastering new tubing technology before other builders even considered experimenting with it."
