How to Do a Nollie Lazer Flip

A nollie lazer flip on a skateboard is challenging, but way cool. It's a matter of timing and balance to flip that skateboard end over end and land squarely on it. If you get really good, well, think ramps and more to make that nollie lazer flip even more fancy. Start with the nollie lazer flip by reading this eHow, and then do whatever you can.

Instructions

    • 1

Go forward at a moderate speed on your skateboard. You definitely don't want to go too fast when you're doing a nollie lazer flip.

    • 2

Place your front foot on your skateboard's nose. The ball of your foot should be right on the nose's heel.

    • 3

Put your back foot either in the middle of the board or a little closer to the front if that feels more comfortable to you. Experiment with this to find what positioning works best for you when you're doing a nollie lazer flip. Whatever the placement, have the toes of your back foot hanging a little off the board.

    • 4

Pop the board up as high as you can; the more height the better.

    • 5

Jump up off your skateboard as you pop it, and go back. Heelflip the board with your back foot, so the board flips front over back.

    • 6

Stop the skateboard from flipping with your feet and land with both feet on the bolts.

    • 7

Get comfortable with the nollie lazer flip until you are able to do it easily. Add a bit of pizzazz to the trick by doing it off a small ramp. As always, wear your helmet.
