How to Donate Used Ski Equipment

1
Go to your local ski shop. If you are in an area like Aspen, Colorado, where skiing occurs often, try unloading your gear at one of the many local ski equipment shops. Most shops have a section for used equipment and will be hard-pressed to turn down free inventory.
-
2
Consult the local Boys and Girls Club, boys' ranch or orphanage. These organizations are always on the lookout for items they can use for activities and field trips. Rarely will they turn you down.
-
3
Ask around town and see if any local ski clubs could benefit from your used equipment. These clubs have members at all skill levels, and used equipment is perfect for a fledgling skier.
-
4
Visit your neighborhood Goodwill. You may be able to work out a trade for something you want or need, but you can donate your equipment there for sure.
-
5
Post the items online with Craigslist. The site readily accepts donations and has an area set aside for that very thing.
