How to Make a Wooden Blowgun
A blowgun is a projectile weapon consisting of a long, hollow tube -- traditionally wood or bamboo -- that fires a small dart. The dart is propelled by the force of air blown through the tube. Blowguns are used by native tribes in South America, Southeast Asia and the Pacific as a means of hunting. The Cherokee tribe of the southeastern United States is known for making blowguns out of river cane. A small, homemade blowgun can be made from a piece of bamboo.
