How to Buy Washington Nationals Tickets

In 1969, an expansion baseball franchise was started in Montreal, as the Montreal Expos became Canada's first Major League Baseball team. Prior to the 2005 season, the franchise moved to Washington D.C. and was renamed the Washington Nationals. They play their home games at Nationals Park, a stadium constructed in 2008. Located in Southeast Washington D.C., Nationals Park offers a majestic view of the Capitol Building. Tickets to Nationals games are available through a number of channels.

      Purchase tickets at the stadium. Nationals Park is located at 1500 South Capitol Street, SE Washington D.C. 20003. You can get tickets at home plate gate, which is at the corner of South Capitol Street and Potomac Avenue. Tickets are also sold at the centerfield gate, located off N Street; the right field gate, located off First Street; and the first base gate, located off Potomac Avenue.

      Order tickets from the team's official website, Nationals.com. Click on the "Tickets" tab and browse the schedule for ticket availability. You can purchase individual game tickets this way, as well as flex plans, mini plans, season tickets and group tickets. You can choose to print your tickets at home, have them mailed to you or have them held at the will call ticket window.

      Use your Internet enabled wireless device such as an iPhone or Blackberry to order your Washington Nationals tickets. Go to Nationals.com on your mobile device, click on the schedule link, select the game you want to attend and then purchase the tickets. For the delivery method, select "mobile phone tickets" and your tickets will be delivered directly to your mobile device.
