How to Meet NASCAR Drivers

The immense popularity of NASCAR over the last decade is evident by the sold out races each weekend. For some, purchasing all their favorite drivers' memorabilia simply isn't enough. The apex of being a NASCAR fan is to meet your favorite driver. Many opportunities are available to meet even the most popular drivers on any given weekend.

Purchase pit passes, which allow you to access the pit areas at the track. You are likely to see your driver, his pit crew and crew chief. Pit passes often feature a question and answer session in the pit area with a couple of featured NASCAR drivers.

Arrive at your favorite NASCAR driver's merchandise vendor and ask about an autograph session. Many drivers visit their merchandise vendors during certain hours to take pictures with fans and sign autographs.

Find the driver's next special appearance in your area or near the host race track. Visit the NASCAR website to access each driver's website. Their sites often contain a press release listing special appearances in the community. NASCAR drivers are involved in a variety of charity events. Also look for any charity events the driver might make for their favorite charity.
