Super Bowl Shaker
-
1
Clean the inside of the bottle with warm water to remove any drink residue, then remove the label from the outside and remove any glue residue using the abrasive side of a sponge.
-
2
Dry the bottles completely either by hand or by leaving them to sit.
-
3
Pour the beads or rice into the bottle, filling the bottle one-quarter of the way to the top, and screw the cap back on.
-
4
Wrap colored tape around the outside of the bottle.
-
5
Secure pictures of logos or players you have printed off to the bottles with tape.
-
6
Apply stickers to the outside of the bottle.
-
7
Use markers or paint to decorate the bottle.
Other Craft Ideas
-
8
Find or design coloring sheets with the outlines of helmets and football players. These can be filled in with the designs of the teams playing in the game.
-
9
Paint toilet paper tubes with the colors of a team's jerseys, and attach cardboard arms and heads to make cardboard players.
-
10
Take a paper plate and make incisions into the bottom in the shape of a facemask and eye slot. Color the plate like a team's helmet and glue the plate to a second plate with a face drawn on it to make a paper plate player.
-
11
Provide foam or construction paper, paint pens and glue-on football-themed craft pieces for making Super Bowl door hangers.
-
12
Bake snacks in the shapes of helmets, footballs and team logos, and then decorate with icing to create food inspired by the team of your (or the child's) choice.
