How to Watch NFL Football Online

Each fall, football fans gather in homes and sports bars around the nation to watch NFL games. If you live far from your favorite football team, you may believe your only options are to get a satellite dish or go out to watch your team. Fortunately, you can also find NFL games online. Links for every NFL game are posted online, allowing you to enjoy these games at home for free.

      Download TVAnts and TVUPlayer (see Resources). You will need these two technologies to watch NFL games online.

      Visit the MyP2P forum (see Resources). You will see numerous threads posted on the main page.

      Click "NFL + CFL + AFL." The football thread will open.

      Select the "NFL Football Week (Streaming)" link at the top of the thread. You will find this link to every NFL Sunday game. When the page opens, scroll down to find a list of games taking place that week.

      Find the game you wish to watch online. There will be at least one link posted to the right of the game.

      Click on the link next to the game. That game will open either in a media player or in a different Web page. How it opens will depend on the specific link.

    Channel Surfing

      Go to the Channel Surfing website (see Resources) on an NFL Sunday or any other day that NFL games are taking place.

      Scroll down the homepage until you see the links for the NFL games. These links will be in order based on starting times (1 p.m. games first, then 4 p.m., etc.).

      Select the link for your NFL game. A new page will open. After a few seconds, you will see a media player inside of the new Web page.

      Click the media player's "Play" button in order to begin watching the NFL game online.
