Arrive before race time to bet on the first set of races. Races run everyday of the week except Sundays. Lines can be long on weekends on Tucson city holidays and there are no late bets. No exceptions.

    • 2

Bring only the amount of money you can lose. It is so easy to get carried away in the excitement of crowd, especially if you actually win a race.

    • 3

Do some quick research by getting racing results from previous days and read up on the dogs that are running on your night. You can hear some of the buzz about certain dogs and how they were looking during practice from the people that make this track a lifestyle.

Take your bet, in cash, to the cashiers. State the track that you want to bet on. Greyhound Park is an off site betting venue for other races so you must be clear on what track you are betting on. Tell the cashier how much your wager will be. There is a $2 betting minimum for each dog bet on.
