How to Make a WWE Spinning Belt

The WWE, or World Wrestling Entertainment, spinning belt is adored as a championship title belt in the wrestling world. The belt is the mark of the most talented wrestlers in the sport and fans often wear one to matches; however, because the belt's features include diamonds and gold, fans have to spend up to $370 (as of July 2011) to purchase a replica. Save money by creating your own simple replica from materials from your local hardware store.

Instructions

    • 1

Form the belt strap by cutting a piece of black leather 4 to 6 inches wide. Make the cut long enough to accommodate your waist size.

    • 2

Cut out a circle from the leather to serve as the belt's centerpiece. Measure the length of the belt strap to determine its center, then glue the circle cut to the center of the belt strap.

    • 3

Cut a smaller circle, similar to the leather circle, from cardboard or poster board. Cut two inner curves into the cardboard circle to create the shape of the centerpiece. Spray paint the cardboard gold, then glue it to the center of the leather circle on the belt strap.

    • 4

Reference the WWE spinning belt logo design and outline it in a colored marker on a piece of cardboard or poster board. Paint over the outline with the appropriate colors and leave it to fully dry. Cut out the design and glue it to the centerpiece.

Attach one Velcro strip to front of the left end of the belt and attach the corresponding Velcro strip to the back of the right side of the belt. This allows you to fasten the belt for wearing around the waist.
