1
Choose a flat, level surface to place the trampoline. You'll need 24 feet above the trampoline to be free of wires and tree branches. The ground underneath should also be empty.
-
2
Lay three top tubes along the ground so they form a three-sided square. The tubes have a small end which fits into the larger end of the next tube. Fit these pieces together. This is one leg section. Repeat with the other three leg sections.
-
3
Hold two of the legs upright so the open-end of the square is facing up. You will need a second person to assist you with this step. Put the T sockets into the top of the legs. Take the longer, curved tubes and hook them together with the T sockets. Repeat this all the way around so you have a circle-shaped frame on top of the legs.
-
4
Lay the canvas bed of the trampoline in the center of the circle with the warning labels facing up.
-
5
Attach the springs into the frame using the spring pulling tool that comes with the trampoline. You will attach the spring to the V-rings on the bed and then insert the other end into the hole on the frame. Note that the frame has both top holes and bottom holes. The top springs hook into the V-ring with the open hook pointing up. The hook should point down when inserted into the V-ring for the bottom holes.
-
6
Hook the top springs in first, all the way around the trampoline, and then repeat with the bottom springs.
-
7
Lay the frame pad on top of the springs. Underneath the pad are straps to secure the pad around the frame. Each strap should be on the outside of the frame and should go through the "V" hooks on the bed. Use the "S" rings that come with the pad to secure it. Do this around the entire trampoline.
-
8
Put two U-bolts onto each leg, slide the bracket on and loosely put the locknuts on the U-bolts. These items come with the trampoline kit.
-
9
Put the tubes for the netting on the ground and slide the foam padding onto the tubes. Insert the straight tube into the top tube to form one segment of the netting frame. Secure with a self-tapping screw in the center hole. Repeat with the remaining tubes.
-
10
Slide one of the black c-clips onto the straight tube and line up the bottom with the socket on the leg. Pull the U-bolt up to the top of the leg so it meets the socket and secure the locknuts. Tighten the other U-bolt two inches above the bottom of the straight tube. This will secure the frame of the netting to the frame of the trampoline. Put a plastic cap on the U-bolts and repeat with the other three poles.
-
11
Form the top pole of the netting by laying out the Top G3 Pole and joining the pieces together. This pole assembles like the poles in a tent -- with the smaller ends fitting naturally into the subsequent larger ends. Repeat with the other pole.
Spread the trampoline netting onto the bed and feed the end of the top pole into the opening on one side of the netting. Repeat on the other side with the other pole.
-
12
Join the top poles with the connectors at each end of the netting to form a circle. Attach one side of the netting pole to the plastic cap at the top of the poles. Repeat on the opposite pole and then the remaining poles.
-
13
Find the bungee cords that are halfway down the netting and attach them to the poles. Repeat on the other three poles.
-
14
Find the V-ring closest to the door. Take the cord that comes with the trampoline and thread it through the V-ring and the netting. Tie the end with a double knot. Weave the cords through the V-rings and netting around the rest of the trampoline to "sew" the two pieces together.
-
15
Note that several cords come with the kit. You will need to tie a double knot in the end of each cord and restart where you left off with the next cord. Tie the cord with a double knot after you have gone all the way around. Don't sew the bottom of the door shut.
