How to Throw a Blitzball Curveball

A Blitzball is a sports toy that resembles a baseball. This type of ball is constructed of plastic and has flat surfaces along the rounded sphere of the ball. The Blitzball website claims that this design makes the ball more streamlined because it has less drag. This helps you throw pitches that spin and travel faster, such as a curveball.

Instructions

      Grip the Blitzball tightly with your index and middle fingers together and your thumb on the underside of the ball. Position your middle finger along the seam of the ball.

      Perform the normal pitching motion with your arm and body.

      Snap your wrist downward toward home plate as you release the ball.

      Squeeze your middle and index fingers as you release the ball to create a forward rotation on the ball. Your fingers should be coming over the top of the ball as you release.
