How to Make Basketball Team Logos

With all of the community and school basketball leagues, it seems a daunting challenge to create a new and custom team logo. There are several ways to create a basketball team logo. Online sources provide templates to create and even register the new design. If you wish to give the team or community members a chance to assist, consider holding a logo competition and selecting the top entry.

      Log onto a custom logo creation website such as LogoMaker. Follow the online prompts to create a new account. Write down your new sign-in name and password for future reference.

      Select the "Sports" option from the menu and follow the creation tool prompts to design the logo.

      Choose custom color schemes for the logo and look at onscreen mock-ups of the logo with your color schemes.

      Approve the final design and submit your payment and information. Receive a JPEG or GIF file, depending on your needs to apply the logo to the team uniforms or printed materials.

    Logo Competition

      Print fliers announcing the team logo creation contest to the members of the team or community. Include information on the team such as the team colors and name. Determine the size of the logo you need and specify the dimensions all entries must adhere to. Provide a due date.

      Go over the submitted logos and put them to the team or committee to decide which is the best or most appropriate.

      Alert the winner and begin using the logo for team uniforms or materials.
