Information on Diamondback Joker Bikes

The Diamondback Joker is part of Diamondback's "Street/Park" series of bicycles. The bicycle can be used for simple riding or for challenging BMX park ramps and street-side curbs. The Diamondback Joker frame comes in a choice of white or black. One size frame is available. Considering a bicycle's specs and options before you purchase helps ensure a satisfying choice.
  1. Frame and Fork

    • The Diamondback Joker frame is made of high-tensile steel. The frame top tube and seat stay measure 19 1/2 and 14 inches, respectively. The frame is fitted with guides to accommodate dual brake cables. Also made of high-tensile steel, the Diamondback Joker fork contains a 1 1/8th inch threadless steering tube and is drilled to accommodate a U-brake. Each fork dropout measures 6 mm.

    Cockpit

    • The Joker two-piece handlebar is made of high-tensile steel. The handlebar features a 7.74 inch rise and measures 25 inches in width. Each handlebar is cushioned with a Diamondback Team handgrip and is allowed to spin a full 360 degrees thanks to an SST Oryg detangler. Hand operated Tektro brake levers control front and rear Tektro 907 U-brakes. Seating comes in the form of a Diamondback Darin Read Signature plastic saddle. The saddle is mounted atop a 25.4 mm steel pillar.

    Gearing

    • The Diamondback Joker is fitted with a three-piece crank featuring 175 mm chromoly crank arms and a 44-tooth sprocket. The crank is joined to the 16-tooth rear freewheel by a KMC Z410 chain. A Diamondback brand plastic pedal with chromoly spindle is mounted to each crank arm.

    Wheels

    • The 30 mm wide Diamondback Joker rims are made of aluminum and feature an anodized black finish. Black 14-gauge spokes connect each rim to a 14 mm steel axle. A Diamondback Cellblock 2.1 tire is mounted onto each rim.
