How to Keep Ears Warm While Cycling
Whether you are bicycling in the dead of winter or on a crisp spring morning, you'll want to dress appropriately. Take your ears into account by purchasing headwear that is both warm and easy to fit underneath a helmet. In some instances, you might get away with tucking your ears into a fleece cap. But in other cases, it might be necessary to wear ear warmers to avoid the cold completely.

1
Shop for a thin beanie or skull cap to wear while riding. Take your helmet with you shopping to make sure that the headgear will fit comfortably underneath.
-
2
Wear the beanie to cover most or all of your ears. The amount of ear coverage is up to you.
-
3
Purchase flexible ear warmers to wear over the beanie if your ears are still not warm. Ear warmers usually fit around the helmet or at the back of the head, so you won't have to compromise safety for comfort.
