      Contact people in your area that have played or coached Cricket. The United States has a National Cricket Team and many Cricket players and coaches may live in your area. Contact these individuals. Have a list of questions readily available to ask them.

      Attend a Cricket match. Find a match either in a league, college or international venue. Spend time watching a variety of matches. Seeing the rules in action will help you understand them better than just reading or talking about them.
