Awesome Football Drills for a Killer Passing Attack : Part 1

QB Stance

The Quarterback stance is a comfortable stance with feet shoulder width apart, and a slight bend at the hips. A small flex at the knees and elbows, and weight on the balls of the feet, be sure the body posture is more upright so he can look at the defensive coverages.

Center – QB Exchange

We spend 10 minutes prior to every practice working on the QB exchange. Call the play, call a specific cadence, mix it up so we can work all of our backfield actions and drops all the way through. We rotate the centers and rotate the quarterbacks so everyone is familiar with each other. We utilize underneath snaps as well as gun snaps. All plays begin with a Center – QB exchange, and you don’t want to waste this opportunity.

QB Self-Snap

Sometimes the centers aren’t available, so we also have quarterbacks snap to each other. Quarterbacks needs any and all opportunities to work their snaps, so don’t neglect this important exercise.

Quickfeet

We spend a lot of time on our feet drills. The Quickfeet drill is just a basic scissors movement to exercise speed and agility.
