1
Lay one 72-inch wood section between the ends of the two 50.5-inch wood sections to form a U shape and nail the pieces together. This will form the front of the goal, with the 50.5-inch sections being the side posts and the 72-inch section being the crossbar.
-
2
Lay one 72-inch wood section between the ends of the two 44-inch wood sections to form a second U shape and nail the three pieces together. This will form the bottom of the goal, with the 44-inch pieces being the sides and the 72-inch piece forming the back of the bottom of the goal frame.
-
3
Lay one 72-inch wood section between the ends of the two 18-inch wood sections forming a third U shape and nail together. This will form the top of the goal frame with the 18-inch pieces being the sides and the 72-inch piece being the back of the top section.
-
4
Lay the bottom of the goal frame on the ground and place the front of the goal frame against it so the ends of the 50.5-inch wood pieces are on the ground and perpendicular to the ends of the 44-inch pieces. Nail the ends together, through the front of the front frame sections and into the ends of the bottom frame sections.
-
5
Have someone hold the top frame so the ends of the 18-inch wood pieces are perpendicular to the top ends of the 50-inch wood sections (the crossbar end). Nail the top frame in place as you did the bottom frame piece.
-
6
Trim the ends of the 54-inch wood section so it fits as a rear brace between the 72-inch crossbar at the back of the bottom frame and the 72-inch crossbar at the back of the top frame. Nail the brace into place to complete the frame.
-
7
Attach the net around the frame using wood nails or staples.
