      Look at the number on the tape where it meets the beginning end. This number is the size of your head is in either centimeters or inches, depending on which you use.

      Look at a chart that gives you information about what your helmet size is depending on your head measurement in centimeters or inches. The company you plan to purchase your helmet from will provide you with this information. On the chart, find your head measurement, then look at the size that corresponds with your calculations.
