How to Find a CVA Accura Serial Number

As the new owner of a Connecticut Valley Arms (CVA) Accura firearm you must register the gun with CVA to receive the firearm's lifetime warranty. Accura owners can submit the registration online at the CVA website. You will need to enter your contact information, purchase date, location of purchase, model number and serial number. The accura's serial number can be found on the barrel of the gun.

      Ensure that the gun is not loaded. Pull the trigger guard extension to the rear and pivot the barrel forward. This will expose the breech plug, which you can remove by turning it counterclockwise until it pops out. Look through the barrel from the back to the front to verify the gun is not loaded.

      Inspect the top of the gun barrel. Some CVA models display the serial number on the top of the barrel around the rear sight, which is near the middle of the barrel. If the serial number is not located around the rear sight, then the number is likely located under the barrel.

      Remove the front stock, located on the opposite side of the barrel from the rear sight. It is held in place by a retaining screw in the center of the underside of the stock. Remove the screw with a screwdriver and carefully detach it.

      Analyze the exposed underside of the barrel to locate your weapon's serial number.
