How to Replace Predator Insole

Introduced in 1994, the Adidas Predator line of soccer shoes was developed with the help of professional player, Craig Johnston. The Adidas Predator now comes with two pairs of insoles. One insole is a typical lightweight insole found in most soccer shoes. The other is a "power" insole designed to shift the weight and mass of the shoe towards the front of the shoe to channel more power towards striking the ball. Removing the insole and switching it for the other is a simple process that can be done quickly, even during a game.

Instructions

      Loosen the laces on the shoe.

      Reach your hand into the heel of the shoe. Grasp the edge of the insole with your index finger. Lift the edge of the insole and slide your index finger underneath.

      Place your thumb on the top of the insole. Press your thumb against your index finger.

      Pull the insole up and out of the opening of the soccer shoe.

      Pick up the other insole by gently folding the sides in toward each other.

      Slip the toe of the insole in the opening of the Predator. Feed the insole into the shoe.

      Reach your hand into the shoe. Feel to make sure the toe of the insole is lined up with the toe of the shoe.

      Use your hand to smooth the insole with your hand. It should be flat without any bumps or curls.

      Repeat for the other shoe.
