How Do You Determine the Barrel Length of a Browning A-5?
Owned by the Belgian manufacturer FN Herstal, Browning Arms produces rifles, shotguns, muzzleloaders, bows and pistols for hunting purposes. John Browning designed the A-5 shotgun in 1898, and its production lasted until 1998. The Auto-5 was the first of the semi-automatic shotguns. Its name derives from its ability to hold five rounds of ammunition. The A-5 comes in three gauges: 12, 16 and 20. The standard barrel lengths are 20, 26, 28 and 32 inches.
