How to Adjust a Pellet Rifle Scope
Whether having fun shooting against friends in the backyard, competing in major competitions or hunting, making sure the scope on your pellet gun is accurate is vital. Adjusting the scope to make sure it hits where you aim can easily be done anywhere you can safely shoot.

Aim at the center of a paper target and shoot a group of three shots. Ten yards is a good distance to start with a pellet gun.

Adjust the windage toward the center of the group. This is the knob on the right side of the scope. Turning counterclockwise will move the crosshairs to the right while clockwise moves them to the left.

Turn the elevation knob on top of the scope to adjust the point of aim up and down. Align the crosshairs in the center of the group.

Shoot another group of three shots while aiming at the bull's-eye and make finite adjustments to hit the bull's-eye with every shot.
