Junior Volleyball Clubs in NYC

Junior volleyball is volleyball played by people 18 years old or under; divisions exist with lower age limits, down to 12 and under, and for boys and girls. Junior volleyball is played indoors; there is also a junior beach volleyball program, which follows different rules.

  1. NYC Juniors Volleyball

    • NYC Juniors Volleyball is a nonprofit organization that exposes girls age 10 to 18 in New York City and surrounding areas to the sport of volleyball. It includes teams for girls at each age from 13 to 18 and runs 12 venues located in Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island.

      Each team practices twice a week for two hours each time, and any interested child can join.

    Starlings Volleyball Clubs

    • Starlings Volleyball Clubs is a national organization that includes 51 clubs, including one in New York City. Per their website, they promote both competition and fun.

      The New York City club has a practice site on the upper west side of Manhattan and 16-year-olds and 18-year-olds compete in tournaments throughout the New York City area. The teams practice once a week and are open to all girls of the appropriate age.

    NY Kerala Spikers

    • The NY Kerala Spikers have a 16-year-old boys' team that competes in the Kerala Volleyball League of North America, which has a tournament every Memorial Day weekend. It is exclusively for people from the state of Kerala, in India, or their children.
