Volleyball Clubs in Chicago

Young athletes involved in their school’s volleyball team find ways of extending the season beyond a couple of months. Volleyball clubs present opportunities for athletes to continue playing volleyball year-round so that players can enhance their skills and live up to their potential. However, the intensity level of club play is different than that of high school. The talent pool is rich, and the competitive atmosphere is intensified.
  1. Ultimate Volleyball Club

    • Comprised of juniors ranging from ages nine to 18, the Ultimate Volleyball Club of Chicago hosts a talented group of kids. Established 12 years ago, the Ultimate Volleyball Club offers male and female athletes training opportunities that will enhance various aspect of their game. They offer college recruiting assistance, jump training and home facilities right on the outskirts of Chicago. The Club’s success is measured through its various accomplishments, such as winning eight Asics Junior National Championships, qualifying seven girls’ teams for the 2009 USAV Junior Olympics and producing 27 athletes committing to universities from the graduating class of 2009.

    1st Alliance

    • 1st Alliance, in collaboration with the Fearless Volleyball Club and Lions Juniors, combined their resources to give Chicago youth an opportunity to compete at an elite level. This association proved successful its first year as all three teams advanced to the Open Division in Houston. They established an athletic commitment to excellence as the teams qualified for the Open Division of the Junior Olympics, finishing in the top five every year. The clubs, which practice at various locations, offer opportunities for both girls and boys, ranging from ages 12 to 18.

    D1 Volleyball Club

    • D1 Volleyball Club has a highly trained staff with collegiate experience from Loyola University of Chicago, Ohio State University, Rutgers University and Lewis University, among others. D1 Volleyball Club prides itself on collegiate volleyball insight and strong competitive play at the highest level for junior boys ages 15 to 18. D1 Volleyball Club established a proven track record with its Green Teams. The 17 Green Team has consistently placed within the top five teams of the Midwest Regional for their respective age divisions. In addition, the 16 and 17 Green Teams competed in the Open Division at the Junior Olympics in Atlanta.

    • Ace Point Match Volleyball Club is owned and operated by Denise Beaudoin, a 35-year veteran who focuses on a positive state of mind, strong work ethic, fearless play without worrying about mistakes and communal effort toward a common goal and a cohesive unit. Ace Point Match provides female athletes ages 14 to 18 an opportunity to play for an elite travel club that enhances skills at a highly competitive level.

    Powerhouse Volleyball Club

    • Powerhouse Volleyball Club offers an elite caliber of play for both boys and girls. The youth boys’ teams, which travel to the Gateway Boys Festival and the Wisconsin Boys Festival, range from ages 14 to 18. The youth girls’ teams range from 11 to 18. They participate in the Mideast National Qualifier and AAU National Championships.
