How to Do a Volleyball Score Sheet
Instructions

-
1
Print a scoring sheet from a desired website, such as the CBS Sports Network. Though these aren't required to keep score, it provides a clean copy of the game for your records.
-
2
Create a scoring sheet, if desired. There is no set template how the scoring sheet must look, but you do need at least two sections. Each section lists the names of each person on both teams in the order that they will serve in the game. Tally the score beside the person who scores the point. At the end of the game, add up the scores to determine the winner.
-
3
Decide whether the teams will play with rally or sideout scoring. In both scoring types, a team scores a point if the ball hits the ground before the other team can reach it, regardless of who served it. However, sideout rules state you will only get the point if you were the team to serve the ball. Otherwise, you only earn the right to serve the ball.

4
Score one point as appropriate for the scoring system you are using. In rally games, the game continues until someone reaches at least 25 points and has at least two points more than the other team. In sideout games, the game continues until someone has at least 15 points, and has at least two more points than the other team.
