Bombardier has been making products that excel beginning with the 1930s vehicle with tracks that was designed to travel on snow. The 2000 Sea-Doo has its roots in the 1968 Sea-Doo personal watercraft. Over time, the design of the Sea-Doo was refined until the 2000 Sea-Doo GTi came on the market. The Sea-Doo 2000 GTi can tow water-skiers, tubers and kneeboarders while giving the rider a fast ride.

    • The Sea-Doo 2000 GTi is a sizable watercraft measuring 124 inches in length, 48 inches in width and 41 inches in height. It weighs 606 pounds.

    Transmission and Drivetrain

    • The Sea-Doo 2000 GTi has a direct drive transmission that is capable of going in forward, reverse and neutral. The watercraft has a stainless steel impeller and has a single-stage pump with a large hub and axial flow.

    Engine Specifications

    • The Sea-Doo 2000 GTi has a two-stroke, twin-cylinder engine that has 718cc displacement. The bore x stroke is 82 mm x 68 mm with a compression ratio of 6.2:1. It has one Mikuni BN 40-38 carburetor and is capable of holding 15 gallons of fuel. The watercraft has a digital CDI (capacitive discharge ignition). The oil injection for the engine is variable rate and it holds 1.6 gallons of oil.
