How to Decorate High School Lockers for Wrestling

Decorate your wrestling locker to motivate you and keep you focused every time you get ready for or finish practice, a tournament or a dual meet. You have to open your locker before and after each event, so use the space to display items that get you ready to compete, work hard and enjoy your time. Use your creativity to decorate your locker in a way that suits you, your personality and your needs.

Instructions

    • 1

Clean out the locker so you're starting with a fresh, clean locker free of clutter. Organize the things you'll need to keep in the locker, such as a shower towel, deodorant, your headgear, mouthpiece, wrestling boots, singlet and workout clothes. Knowing where everything will go will help you see what space is open for decorating.

Decorate plain magnets with stickers, markers or by gluing pictures on them. You can write your team motto, use images of the school mascot or write out inspirational quotes that keep you focused and motivated.

Install a portable mirror with a magnetic or sticky backing that is easy to remove. Decorate the mirror with stickers or dry-erase markers. Leave notes to yourself, such as reminding yourself to eat right to make weight.

Hang pictures using magnets to hold them in place. Include your team, an important match that motivates you, your girlfriend, your little brother, your favorite professional or Olympic wrestler or anyone who motivates you.
