Instructions

-
1
Find the baseball coaching certification program that is right for you. Inquire with the American Council on Coaching or contact your local sports association.
-
2
Enroll in the baseball coaching certification program you've chosen. You may have to pay a fee to enroll in the certification course.
-
3
Attend the online or in-person class, and follow through on all homework assignments and readings. Most coaching certification programs are part-time, and will require small amounts of work to be done outside of class. The majority of your class time will be spent on the baseball diamond, where you will learn to coach players through direct experience. On the field, you will be taught topics ranging from the ethics of baseball coaching to team strategies for success.
-
4
Take the final examination at the completion of your class. The exams usually take around an hour to complete, and will cover most of the information you learned in class.
-
5
Await the results of your examination from the coaching certification program. If you received a passing grade, you will be awarded a certificate in baseball coaching.
