Pop Warner Coaching Certification

Pop Warner football offers football programs for children and youth from ages five to 16. The USA Football's Youth Coaching School, in conjunction with National Football League (NFL) teams, offers certification for football coaches.

  1. Benefits

    • Youth coaches learn to communicate with players and parents, coach position fundamentals and create defensive, offensive and special teams' game plans. Coaches also learn to organize practices and properly conduct drills.

    Time Frame

    • The Youth Coaching school is a one-day certification course. Coaches must re-certify every three years. Re-certification is available online.

    Cost

    • The cost to register for a USA Football coaching course is $25 (as of 2010). The fee must be paid before certification is issued.
