How to Get WIAA Certified

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association requires certification for those interested in officiating. Once certified, a candidate will be listed on the directory used by conference commissioners and athletic directors to select officials. Additionally, anyone with WIAA certification will be granted access to the WIAA Officials Center website. The process can be completed using information available online on the WIAA website.

      Navigate to the WIAA website.

      Click on the "WIAA Info" menu and select "Officials Licensing."

      Click on the link for the "Licensing application."

    • 4

      Print and complete the application. Mail the completed application along with the appropriate fees to the address for the WIAA printed at the top of the application. A fee schedule is provided on the right-hand side of the application.
