    • Situated in the southern part of the state, in the Los Angeles area, an outing with Extreme Things involves traveling east of the city and deep into the Angeles National Forest. Patrons must be able to complete a moderate-level hike in order to reach the jump location. Popularly known as "The Bridge to Nowhere" extreme adventurers searching for an unforgettable experience leap off the edge of the bridge and descend toward water and rocks. The day begins with an early morning car ride into the forest and a two-hour trek over trails, through dense trees and across rivers running up two feet deep. Once reaching the drop spot, participants enjoy a sack lunch, receive a brief bridge history and jumping and safety instructions, and then take their turn at the bridge. Be prepared for a two hour hike back to your vehicle at the end of the event. A group of 10 or more people is required and trips typically occur on the weekends.

    • Located in the northern part of the state in Alameda, Icarus Bungee boasts to have been in business since 1990 and have "a perfect safety record with no accidents or injuries." The company utilizes 15 different bridges in the north region of California and locations vary dependent upon changing weather conditions. Various trips and packages are available. All equipment is provided and large groups can be accommodated. Reservations are required and discounts are available. Minors are allowed to jump with written parental consent.
