Lib Tech Tools

Lib Tech is a company that primarily makes snowboards (referred to as "Bananas") but makes some skateboards as well. Lib Tech offers a wide line of Banana snowboards custom-made from quality wood and materials. Lib Tech also produces other tools and accessories used in the sport, such as wax, goggles, tuning tools and stomp pads.

  1. Banana Wax

    • Banana Wax is used to ensure the slipperiness and speed of a snowboard. It is available in the form of hot wax or rub-on wax. Banana wax comes in a temperature-controlled container that preserves the wax in extreme climates. An environmentally-friendly "Bio Wax" is available that is made from soybeans. Banana Wax is sold individually and in tuning kits.

    Lib Tech Goggles

    • Lib Tech Goggles offer 100 percent UV protection and a built-in ventilation system that prevents lenses from fogging up. The double-lens goggles also have anti-scratch protection and shatter-resistant lenses. Lib Tech goggles are helmet-compatible, attaching to helmets with clips on each side by the ear. Goggles come in a custom protective case.

    MTX Edge Tool

    • The MTX Edge Tool is a tuning tool that is used on the waves of Mange-Tech snowboards. The tool is half the size of tuning tools produced by other brands, making it compact enough to fit in your pocket when you are on the mountain. The tool is sold individually and in tuning kits.

    The Banana Stomp Pad

    • The Banana Stomp Pad is used to provide a means of cleaning or scraping snow off of your boots. Stomp pads are placed between the boot bindings, just in front of the back foot when you are in stance on the snowboard. The Banana Stomp Pad is especially helpful for boarders who jump off of chairlifts, since it helps provide traction when landing. The back foot, which is not secured to the board, can be stomped onto the pad to provide grip between boots and board.
