Instructions

Turn over the skateboard and use your screwdriver to unscrew the axles holding the wheels to the skateboard. Place the screws in a safe place so that you don't lose them while you are working.

    • 2

Use a wrench to remove the wheels from your skateboard. Test the correct size to ensure you get the right size.

    • 3

Screw your risers into place where the axles were. The risers should be about 1-1/2 inches tall. They are necessary to give the wheels the clearance they need so that your board doesn't hit the ground.

    • 4

Place the mountain board wheels on your axles and use your wrenches to secure them in place. Place the axles on the risers and screw them into place using the original screws. Test the stability of the wheels by briefly standing on top of the board.

Drill holes on the board on each side of both of your feet on the board. Make sure you that you place the holes so that your feet are comfortable on the board. Run the straps through each of the holes so that the straps go over the top of your feet. Screw the straps into place so that your feet fit comfortably into the straps. The straps will keep your board in place under your body.

Screw a strap to the front of your board and cut it off so that it is long enough to reach your hand. You hold the strap while you skate to add extra control and maneuverability to your board.
