Rossignol Reserve Snowboard Specs
-
Size
-
Rossignol Reserve snowboards are designed for women. The model is available in sizes 139 cm, 143 cm, 148 cm and 153 cm. Snowboards are measured in centimeters, and to choose a size you must find a size chart. Sizes are determined by height, weight and riding ability.
Shape
-
The snowboard has a directional shape. The tip of the board is wider and the waist, the thinnest part of the board, is set farther back. The shape is designed for boarders who ride in one direction.
Construction
-
The Rossignol Reserve is made with a full wood core. The core is the center of the board and is wrapped to produce the final product. A wood core offers strength and flexibility.
Sidecut
-
A Rossignol Reserve snowboard is designed with a radial sidecut. This means that a large circle will fit exactly into the side of the board. A radial sidecut allows for long, smooth turns. The radial sidecut is a typical shape for a snowboard. Snowboard manufacturers have only recently developed new sidecut shapes.
Base Material
-
This board comes with a 3.3K extruded base. 3.3K is a measure of the density of the p-tex, a type of plastic. An extruded base means that the p-tex is melted and molded into shape. The extruded base is durable and does not require regular waxing or repair.
